How to repair a zipper that does not close the teeth

Dear Krish Sir,

I maintain a nice tool box at my sweet home and the special one I have is the tiny set of screwdrivers to fix the

tiny screws like the ones in spectacles and toys of kids. Mom used to tease me saying that I was born holding a

screwdriver in my hand! :D

BTW, 'vallavanukkup pullum Ayudham', right? If pliers is NOT there, take the 'idukki' from your kitchen!!

Is it idukki or kidukki?
We are KLBs and call it 'idukki' whereas Eastern side tambrahms call it 'kidukki'.

I find the second one better than the first one, seen in the pictures below;

but only the first one can replace the pliers:

The English equivalent is 'pincer'. Some call it 'tongs'.
