Someone is fulfilling his desire for food.
He is eating and not throwing it away.
When vast number of people go part hungry having only one meal a day, this image sends a message to politicians and those who are stinking well off.
Feed the multi crores in india . Let no one go to sleep hungry.
Who is interested IN GDP numbers, and interest rates ?. Growth figures have no meaning for half the population.
Tough statistics are given about people being taken above poverty line, still crores cannot afford a decent meal.
This is indian tragedy.
I attended a marriage reception in chennai in kalaignar arangam marriage hall -39 items were served as part of food menu on plantain leaves.Many of the items on elai were not consumed. About 1500 were fed
Who gains by this wastage?.I felt very bad being part of that event

now a days there are NGOs who are specially concentrating on this area. Collecting surplus and waste foods from marriages and other ceremonies and serving it to the needy who wont mind consuming it. a little search in your area will help you to find out their contact numbers.
