Definitely yes...Our country has grown in leaps and bounds as the economy got liberalized in 1991...New ideas are getting implemented..Our software industry is a star performer..We are not behind in manufacturing too..We just read how Royal Enfield Bullet has out grown its competitor Harley Davidson in terms of sales in 2014..58% of the billionaires are self made and not by inherited wealth ..Great going India!

India among top 3 nations generating most billionaires - Economic Times

There are also great goings in areas like poverty, jobless, homeless, malnutrition, corruption, in which we invariably occupy the first two positions.

Please do not forget the economic disparity as well.
But then again we have come a long way, we forgot the words like secular, socialist, compassion, world is family etc.
When the leader of India wears cloths worth Million, as compared to the half Dhoti and Khadi, who cares about the poor.

That is correct. The govt that is formed yesterday suddenly becomes responsible for the poverty stricken India for the past 60 odd years.

Sometime back Praveen cautioned against reducing this site to a political forum. Unfortunately that is exactly what is happening here with one sided commentary directed against a party by stooges of competing political party perhaps.

Tough times for the forum.
