House Warnming on kari naal

Gopalan Sir,

I have planned to have my house warming on 17-1-2013. But looks like it is kari naal (inauspicious). Let me know if we can have it on the same day or some other day.

As per driganitha panchangam 17th is not karinal. so you can do house warming. only 14th and 15th and 16th january are karinal.

Hi,

On the same line, we were suggested to do Graha Pravesam on Jan-24, 2013 before 6 AM.
But, in calendar, it is "Kari Naal". Pls suggest if its ok.

So far as Brahmin Community is concerned, kari naal is not considered.

Karinall begins only from sunrise . 6 am is considered as previous day . sunrise on 24th is from 6-41 am. Only from 6 41 am karinall starts.
you can proceed. before karinall starts.
