Hi,

I have read some other posts about house warming (pooja) not be done in aavani due to malai maasam. But some of them are saying that if it is first house only we should not do it. We are planning to move to our second house. So if someone could share their views on this it would be great.

Hi,

Normally we do all good things in Aavani but this time in Aavani there are two amavasyas so sasthrigal suggests not to do good things, be it whatever. Next month Mahalaya patcham so we ourself won't do. So I suggest to wait till Iypasi, let it be a 2nd or 3rd house. The place where you are going to stay should give you a peaceful and healthier life, so think twice. All the best and advance wishes for your house warming ceremony.
