Guidance required :27–28 July 2018 — Total Lunar Eclipse

Respected learned seniors,

I intend to do mantra japa during this eclipse. I am also going to do Tarpana. (My father expired only few months ago)

Please check my order of doing things .

First snanam before eclipse, then mantra japa, and then pithru tarpana and snana after the eclipse is over.

Is Brahma yagnya necessary, or tarpana is suffice.

Please correct my errors , if any. I am also soliciting your valuable suggestions in this regard

Chandra grahana tharpanam - since the grahanam ends @ 3.46 am on Saturday 28th , can we perform tharpanam in the morning after sunrise ?

Can we perform the grihana kala tharpana on the 28th morning, since madhya kala is late night.
