EMU trains are crowded in chennai

People have started using train for traveling from Madurai to Ramanathapuram

XYZ says in the SUN TV MIKE: Train fare is very cheap and it reaches the place faster

What can we say about these ignorant people of tamilnadu. Train fares have always been cheaper than bus fares.

In chennai, i know people who travel from Velachery to Parrys/Broadway by 21 L : The bus is very crowded but they wont use the MRTS Train service.

Today a chennai bangalore 2nd sitting fare is only 110 INR and its more cheaper for senior citizens. sadly many citizens are not aware of this and the buses should be run near the railway stations

The reason for people opting bus is no reservation problem, pick-up points(the auto/taxi fare from railway station to resience is more than the train fare), any time availability of buses.

people going to long distance (like chennai to delhi) certainly opt for train service only.
