[h=2]Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran orders inquiry into the incident[/h] A fire broke out in the premises of a godown housed close to the northern gate of Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram early on Sunday.
As many as 16 fire tenders were engaged in dousing the flames that was reported around 4 a.m. The fire is under control now. Two persons, including a commando of Kerala police, sustained injuries in the incident.
The RMS godown was fully gutted in the fire. The fire is suspected to have spread from the waste that was burnt nearby late on Saturday night.
The office is located 25 metres away from the northern entrance of temple. Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
