Dear All

Here's something that we - as a family have tried and implemented successfully.

Please go to Family Trees & Family History at Geni.com : it's user friendly.

We have over 1500 relatives' photographs and other details like birthdays, wedding
anniversaries, obits etc etc stored in Geni Family Trees.

Earlier, we used to refer a book - "Aikiya Kudumba Charitram" that recorded details
of our relatives from 1780 until 1920s. Sometimes with descriptions and anecdotes
from Mangudi, Purasakudi, Vaikaalathur, Rishiyur, Varahur, Trichy, Coimbatore
Tiruvarur, Tiruvidaimarudur, Nilambur, Trissur, Travancore and other places where the
Family Tree branched to.

Very often, a person's name appears in multiple trees, and these can be matched.
It's good, and I think everybody should try it - if not for anything else, atleast to
keep track of who is where, doing what.

Please get into Geni - maybe some of our trees will match .
