Is there a gender equality in the pair of cattle used too??
They look of different sizes and the brown one shows
an unmistalable interest in the white quiet one!

Ha..Ha.. Need not have any doubt.. for ploughing ONLY bulls are used everywhere...

I read this as a symbolic mis-representation of gender equality...If a cow & bull are going to the same manual job tied to the plough, each will go in dfferent directions...So area ploughed will not be uniform...It is like the proverbial horses moving in different directions...Most likely that the bull seeing the work of the calf will get demotivated & stop ploughing...Or it may get attracted to the cow (most likely) and may struggle to get out of the yoke and move towards the cow...Good fun indeed!

There will not be any mis-representation as for as the cattles used ... I am sure bulls are the only eligible candidates on both side of the yoke.. Nobody will use different genders of cattles..
The photo is about the WOMEN who is doing the job of Men...as a proof of Equality..
