I saw the ubiquitous forum for Matrimonials here but none for jobs or business networking.
One of the advantages of having a forum like this one (like the Tam Brahms community on orkut or other websites) is the fact that we can have a large network of people coming to one portal looking for connections and opportunities.
I recommend that we start the following forums in Tamilbrahmins.com:
1. A business networking forum where businessmen amongst us can find and provide business opportunities for their companies. This will especially help startup companies owned by fellow members of the community
2. A jobs forum where we can post jobs and links to jobs on the internet or contact details for job interviews in various parts of the world for any fellow tamil brahmins interested. In addition, people looking for candidates may get in touch through these forums.
Do you think these are good ideas? The objective is to ensure that the connectivity or opportunity that a lot of colleges aren't able to provide (because they discriminate against brahmins) can be provided by those of us willing to provide opportunities to other fellow members.
