I want to learn vishnu sahasranama and Rudra , many priests i asked snubbed me into learning the rudra , i am based in bangalore.

Let me know if you know of anyone(teacher) who stays near katriguppe in bangalore.

The Challakere brothers have rendered Vishnusahasranama in cassette in such a way that any one can learn it easily by just playing it in a tape recorder and referring a book to repeat and by heart. You can learn the great VS within a month with out any mistake.Pl try, as this is the way I have learnt Vishnusahasranama. I can now comfortably recite without referring to the text or cassette

If you are particular about having a teacher,the best way I could think of is to join the Vishnusahasranama goshti which is normally conducted in any Perumal temple in and around your area.I have seen a leader conducts and others follow.One such goshti I saw in Devagiri temple in Banasankari 2nd Stage.
