End Violence against Women

From 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December,

The date of 25 November was chosen to commemorate the Mirabal sisters, three political activists from the Dominican Republic, who were brutally assassinated in 1960 during the Rafael Trujillo dictatorship (1930-1961)

I think the time has come to

1. End violence on husbands.

2. End violence on teachers.

3. End violence on children.

and so on... :bump2:

people in general have become violent.

they show it against various sections of society.

open the TV or news papers , there is hardly a day when such acts of violence are not reported.

everyday would qualify for elimination of violence.

Movies are the main reason.

Young minds are spoiled totally by them.

Every guy / girl thinks he /she is a hero / heroine and starts fighting at the earliest opportunity!

There is a deep rooted cause for violent behaviour.

people of various sections of society are getting helpless and giving vent to their feelings to express their frustration and anger .there are causes like unemployment ,

corruption, high cost of living, safety of women, poor law and order all adding to the discontentment .

when economic bubble has burst with growth at 5 percent , inflation at 11 percent, with a failed monsoon the future is not rosy either.

movies only reflect society . if society is in turmoil , the movies only project violence and can be no different in case the ticket counters are to be kept busy
