NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has written to the enforcement directorate to probe financial/IPL angle in the Sunanda Pushkar case.
Earlier, Delhi's economic offences wing (EOW) was investigating this aspect. The EOW was probing the shareholding pattern of the now-defunct IPL team Kochi Tuskers.
The investigations+ revolve around the Rs 75 crore (4.75%) sweat equity offered to Sunanda by Rendezvous Sports World, a member of the consortium that won the Kochi IPL franchise.
Sunanda had to give up the equity later as it caused a furore after ex-IPL chief Lalit Modi
