The Women Squad Leader of the Indian National Army, Dr Lakshmi Sahagal passed away at 97. She was born Lakshmi Swaminathan to Dr S. Swaminathan and Mrs Ammu. Did her MBBS and was a practising Gynaec. She went to Singapore in pursuit of academics but changed course to become part of Indian history. At her time She was a great revolutionary of purpose. I think this forum to salute the great lady.
