Millions of women who have soldiered through natural childbirth while their male partners wilted beside the bed may be shocked by a new study published in the Journal of Pain. According to the authors, who pored over the records of over 72,000 medical patients, "Women report more intense pain than men in virtually every disease category."

I wonder?? But they complain the most about pain I am sure.May be its fear related cos I see most females fear when we docs try to take blood where else males are not so scared.

I myself fear a little if someone is giving me an injection or taking my blood(but i dont show it) thats why I prefer to inject myself and take my own blood when I am unwell.

When you do it yourself you can actually control your fear feeling cos you will be concentrating on doing it right and forget about the pain.
