Temple festivals are celebrated with traditional pomp, involvement and devotion in all the temples. Vedaprabanda goshtis always walked with the Lord.

The Photo Editor’s Take
"Temple festivals and rituals are part of the culture and tradition of our city. This photograph captures the sprit of the festival with kolams on the street and men attired in silk panchakacham reciting hymns. The woman prostrating to the group wearing the traditional madisaar saree completes the picture."Despite heavy reflected light from the background the photographer has exposed the scene maintaining a good balance between bright highlight and deep shadows. Good overall sharpness in colour and contrast.
