Dhanush’s Kakka Muttai wins the Best Children’s film and Best Child Actors award!

Fox Star Studios, Wunderbar Films and Grass Root Films’ Tamil venture Kakka Muttai (The Crow’s Egg) has won two national awards, for the Best Children’s film and for the Best Child Actors, at the 62nd National Film Awards. The film has been co-produced by superstar Dhanush and National Award winning director Vetrimaaran. The film has been directed by debutant Manikandan. A former wedding photographer, Manikandan is the writer, director and cameraman of the film. The music is given by GV Prakash.
This movie has been receiving global accolades and standing ovations across the World, from the prestigious Toronto Film Festival to the Dubai International Film Festival.
Kakka Muttai is a quirky comedy and will hit the screens worldwide in May. When a pizza parlor opens on their old playground, two carefree slum boys are consumed by the desire to taste this dish called ‘pizza’. Realising that one pizza costs more than their family’s monthly income, they begin to plan ways to earn more money – inadvertently setting in motion an adventure that will involve the entire city.
