Somehow, I just cannot stand the actor Shivaji. He is a theatre artist and the various "nelivu-sulivus" of his face (esp. the lips) becomes obsolete with the advent of the camera (with close up shots possible). It made/makes me squirm and most of the time I enjoy his emotional scenes as comedy. In "thevar magan", his acting is controlled and hence bearable to and extent (for me).

Two more actresses in the same league - Saroja Devi and K R Vijaya.

Aaargh...
