Hear the name "RAGHUMAYI" for the first time. Is this athuentic name ? Some times when sanskrit words are fiirst written in Tamil and then transliterate in English, the meaning itself changes. Best example is SANAIHI CHARAH - शनैहि चरह = One (the planet) who moves very slowly = शनैश्चर . Written in Tamil as சனைசச்சரன். Then it mutated in to சனீஸ்வரன். I have heard pravachana karthas and Godmen (wanting to make money) EXTOLLING planet शनैश्चर as THE ONLY PLANET TO BE CALLED EASWARA among all planets to market some propitiation in exchange of money from weak minds. To the extent i know, the name "Rukumayi" a slang for Rukmini - consort of Panduranga. Written in tamil as ருக்குமாயி then ரகுமாயி then transliterated as "RAGHUMAYI", i request Mr.Praveen to correct the blog immediately so that future is not misled. If "RAGHUMAYI" is correct i would request the root+suffix split and meaning of the term.
