In ancient days,
when Shankar married Uma he was called Umashankar.
When Narayan married Lakshmi he was called Lakshminarayan.
When Ram married Sita he was called Sitaram.
When Krishna married Radha he was called Radhakrishna.
Nowdays,
when Uma marries Shankar she is called Uma Shankar.
When Lakshmi marries Narayan she is called Lakshmi Narayan.
When Sita marries Ram she is called Sita Ram.
When Radha marries Krishna she is called Radha Krishna.
[FONT=&quot]and so on
Can anyone mention how this pattern has changed
Is it becuase we have moved from Shakthi domination to male domination

Just the opposite, Shri Suresh Kumar. Umashankar means "umayaa saha shamkara:" or Samkara who is alongwith Umaa, the importance going to Samkara. Now, as per your new order, it will mean "samkarena saha umaa" or Umaa with Samkara as her sidekick. That is the difference. So the iconography also has to be suitably changed; umaa sitting with Samkara on her thigh ;)

Already in the tantric sense Lalita Tripurasundari is on a throne the pedestals of which are the trimurtis plus Indra.

"The goddess Tripura Sundari in her aspect as Shodasi is represented as a sixteen-year-old girl, and is believed to embody sixteen types of desire. The Shodasi Tantra, a treatise on the Tantra, describes Tripura Sundari as "Beauty Of Three Worlds". She is described as being of dusky color, and is depicted in an intimate position with an aspect of Shiva. The couple are shown on a bed, a throne, or a pedestal resting on the significant male gods of Hinduism like Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, and Indra." (Tripura Sundari - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Here you will observe that Siva is doing a marvellous double act, holding up the cot and simultaneously being in an intimate position with the goddess on the cot. Modern Umashankars will have to learn this trick. I don't know about the others.;)
