My mother's ceremony is tomorrow 02 May. Because of the current situation weare unable to perform. We have planned to perform at a later date of the same thithi. Will it be advisable to do thurpana tomorrow? Advice please

Yes, you can do at a later time as advised by your family priest. No problem. You need not do any tharpanam instead os Srardham.
