Asking this question on behalf of my friend. Her dad passed awsy this July. Can she have Navarathiri golu at home and observe purtasi pooja?

She can very much have golu and observe puratasi pooja if she is married. If she is unmarried she can celebrate all festivals after the varushapthigam.
