Bittorrent is a company that pioneered torrenting, and has developed quite a reputation due to the popularity of the .torrent standard for piracy-infringing files.
Over the past few months, Bitorrent is looking to revamp itself, and is releasing a few apps in order to have a better public Image. Now, it is launching Shoot, which is an app to make inter-device sharing much more easier. It mainly focuses on photos and videos.
Choose the file you want, tap send and scan the QR Code on the Sender’s Phone from the receiver’s phone.
After 3 files are sent, the app requires a one-time $1.99 fee for sending in the future. The app, however, is completely free for receiving files.
