Bhimaratha Shanthi for mother

Dear all

we are planing to do bheemaradhasanthi Shanthi for our mother. Her nakshatra birthday falls in September. Our father passed away in 2010.

Kindly tell us if this can be done to our mother (only).
if so what are the homamas to be done.
we have 2 brothers and a sister. Can both brothers do the homams or only the elder should do.

Thank you sir. Can someone suggest me a "good" sastrigal in and around Tambaram ? I am sorry to mention, but few of them we engaged were more of "money minded" and "always in a hurry" than performing the rituals in a satisfactory way. ( I didn't mean to hurt anyone here).
