Best way to ask for Change in shop

Surely some of us would have faced a similar situation when the Shop Keeper gives you a Third Rated Chocolate saying: "Sir No Change" .

Probably this is another way of selling some cheap unwanted things to customers!!

Usually we never protest and how the situation was dealt by Nana Patekar Sir is a lesson we should learn!!

You are right, PJ ji, it maybe just some 'chillarai' for us, but they surely add up, for the shopkeeper in savings, if he can successfully manage to 'steal' 10 paise each from customers...

In the US, there was an example for this... one toll booth worker was once caught red-handed stealing just 25c from each vehicle (or majority of them) that stopped by his toll booth. Over a period of 10 yrs, he had amassed a lot of wealth this way. It was finally found out and he was punished.
