Folks,

I, in general do not like BBC, who I think decidedly tilts towards socialism. They have published a scurrilous and rubbish interview by one Vinod Mehta, about the Kanchi Sankarachya some time ago, from a 'pseudo' secularism point of view. I was part of a team that forced BBC to yank their transcript of the interview from their web pages some time ago (I played the least part among a great team of five folks).

Anyways, not withstanding my aversion to BBC, the following site came to my attention as I was looking for a documentary 'Lost world of the Raj'. Here BBC explores the India experience by Her Majesty's subjects and as I watch it, different emotions go throuh me. I highly recommend this.

There are other stories (one about Indian schools is very good), one about Dubai and one about China.

Please let me know your feelings as you watch the 'Raj' video.
