Barack Obama orders intelligence agencies to produce report reviewing Russian role in influencing the US Presidential elections
US Presidential Elections, President Barack Obama had taken a fresh move, ordering American intelligence agencies to produce a full report, reviewing Russian efforts to influence the elections.

According to a report by The New York Times, the reports to be submitted to the US President will be tracing attack son the Democratic National Committee and individuals like John D. Podesta, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. Earlier, Russia had been accused, by the US intelligence officials, of attempts to interfere in the US Presidential election by hacking the official e-mail accounts of the Democrats.
However, the US President-elect Donald Trump had questioned the claim of hacking and the involvement of the Russian in it, stating that the allegations are to discredit him and his decision to shut relations with Moscow.
And amid controversies, many continue believing that the e-mail hack fom Democratic Party officials and a Hillary Clinton campaign aide’s had influenced the results of the 2016 elections, helping the Republican candidate to win.
