Please enlighten me in this regard. Do we need Grantha only for Sanskrit slokas? Why not Devanagari script be accepted instead of Grantham for the purpose? Does Grantham enhance the value of Tamil in any manner regards to ancient Tamil works / modern Tamil works.? I was made to understand the present Tamil scripts were innovated to make Tamil Typewriter friendly. Isn't it?
