Annual Ceremony For Parents - Reasonable amount to Purohit and his Assistants

Every six months my Purohit keeps on increasing tha amount payable for the ceremony of my parents. He brings two assistants with him. What is the reasonable amount for the Assistants as well as to the Purohit who conducts the ceremony. For the chief I give 1kg rice, 1/2 kilo dhai and 1 kg of Jaggery. The assistants get Dhotis too.

I don't know from which part of India you are referring to . In Delhi NCR they normally charge From ₹1000/- to ₹1200/- for assistants and ₹1500/- for chief priest and some thing additional for conveyance depending upon the distance of travel..
