Knowledge is something which is necessary not only for the elevation of self but also for the elevation of society. But even more important is acquiring the right knowledge. The modern technological revolution is making it possible for anyone to acquire knowledge at a click away such as from search engines like google, yahoo etc.
I am sure these companies are making substantial investments to refine and even create radically new technologies so as to satisfy the need for knowledge.
As a person who has been involved in these areas for the past two decades and one with great interest in developing useful and innovative technology, I would like to add in my own little way to the efforts of the giants.
This work that I envisage is connected to other ideas I have in my mind such as imparting knowledge that answers the question "why?" in addition to the question "how?".
My current idea is like this. Give the stupendous amount of information, good and bad , right and wrong , to a person who can tap and organize that knowledge in a logical way and without contradictions, can provide a body of knowledge that can be very useful when people seek information on something. The information sought may range from one's hobbies to one on esoteric topics. The idea is to provide easy access to knowledge and knowledge which is reliable.
I have some initial ideas which can help the above task and I would like to call people who want to contribute with their expertise in this endeavor. People who have experience in search technology can especially be helpful.
But I plan to do this as a no profit venture with the sole objective that the society would benefit from it.
