சீனாவை சேர்ந்த இளம் பெண் தனது நண்பருக்கு எஸ்.எம்.எஸ் அனுப்படெக்ஸ்ட் அடித்து கொண்டே சென்றார். மொபைல் போனை பயன்படுத்துவதில் கவனம் செலுத்தியஅந்த பெண் ரோட்டில் நடந்து செல்வதில் கவனம் செலுத்தவில்லை. ரோட்டோரம் இருந்த[/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT][FONT=&quot] வால்வாயின் மூடியில்[/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT][FONT=&quot] இரும்பு கம்பிகளுக்கு இடையில் இள்ம பெண்ணின் நீண்ட மெல்லிய கால் சிக்கிகொண்டது.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT][FONT=&quot] அவர் அந்த காலை தானே எடுக்க பல முறை முயற்சி செய்தார்ஆனால் முடியவில்லை அவருக்கு அழுகை அழுகையாய் வேறு வருகிறது.

வழியில் செல்வோர்கள் எல்லாம் அவருக்கு உதவி செய்யவந்து சிறிது நேரம்[/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT][FONT=&quot] முயற்சி செய்து விட்டு[/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT][FONT=&quot] முடியாது என திரும்பி சென்றனர் .

தீயணைப்பு படையினர் வந்து 45 நேரபோராட்டத்திற்கு பிறகு கம்ப்பிகளை அகற்றி அந்த பெண்ணின் காலைவிடுவித்தனர்.பிறகுதான் அவர் அழுகையை நிறுத்தினார். தீயணைப்பு படையினரும் ரோட்டில்செல்லும் போது கவனமாக இருக்க அறிவுறித்தி அனுப்பினர்[/FONT]

Sir,

While I agree with you on the worst conditions of most of the roads in India, will you justify our people using mobile while walking on the road, or crossing the road or railway track or riding or driving vehicle?

Look at the condition of a road which caved in yesterday at Chennai.

"Lucky escape for three as road caves in"

The incident was due to Metro Rail tunneling work

A portion ofPoonamallee High Road collapsed and formed a crater, trapping a Maruti SuzukiSwift and giving its three occupants a hair-raising experience on Friday.

The incident occurredas a result of underground tunnelling work as part of the Chennai Metro Railproject.

The car was heading toChennai Central station opposite Madras Medical College when the road suddenlycaved in. The driver stopped the vehicle on time, but the chassis was dentedwhen it hit the hard surface. On Thursday night, the road had caved at the sameplace due to tunnelling work and a metal sheet had been placed temporarily overit.

The car wassubsequently taken from the cavity using two cranes.

Officials of ChennaiMetro Rail Limited (CMRL) said, “The road caved in because the soil underneathwas loose and the road surface collapsed, unable to withstand the pressure fromthe tunnel boring machine (TBM). We will repair the area soon. If the car ownerhas to seek compensation, he has to approach the contractor – Afcons, the firmin charge of tunnelling work on the stretch”

“There was a busbehind the car. Had the bus been caught instead of the car, there would havebeen major trouble,” said an eye-witness, C. Geetha, who works in a nearbystore. Currently, tunnel boring machines (TBM) are drilling through the earthfrom Madras High Court to Chennai Central station and this work is beingcarried out on a joint venture basis by Afcons – Transtonnelstroy

im against the using the cell phones on roads/public places....many deaths are happening on the tracks....
