பிராமின் கல்யாணத்தில் பொரி இடுதல்

அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம்!

பிராமின் (ஐயர்) கல்யாணத்தில் பொரி இடுதல் எனும் நிகழ்ச்சி உண்டு. "பொரி இடுதலின்" உண்மையான நோக்கம் என்ன?

இதில் பொரி இடுவது மணப்பெண்ணின் உடன் பிறந்த சகோதரர் இருப்பின் அவர்தான் பொரி இட வேண்டுமா? உடன் பிறந்த சகோதரர் இருந்தும் சந்தர்ப்ப சூழ்நிலையால் பிரிந்து இருப்பின் அவர் சார்பில் வேறு யார் யார் பொரி இடலாம்?

In the book yajur vedhiya aapasthamba poorva prayogam book written by "ANNA' and published by surabhi jagathguru sadhapthi publicationswest mambalam chennai 33. in page no. 253 while describing about pori homam only it is a traditional sampradhaayam that bride's brother should pour pori and give thaamboolam and Bridegroom's sister should tie thali thirumangalyam the second and third knot . only for the unity of both families.

Bride groom may pour pori in the hands of bride for the homam. Bride is praying for her husband's longevity by offering pori.
