When I was taught this in my elementary school I was clueless about the meaning of துப்பு! We call clue less man துப்பில்லாதவன் - துப்பு means clue in current usage of the word (துப்பறிதல் துப்பு சேகரித்தல்)

But in சஙகத்தமிழ் it means food or உணவு - துப்பில்லாதவன் was foodless man at that time!

துப்பாய தூஉம் மழை -(குறள்-1 2 )

துப்பார்க்கு -உண்பவர்களுக்கு , துப்பு-உணவு , ஆக்கி -உருவாக்கி
உண்பவர்களுக்கு உணவு விளைவித்து (சமைத்தும்) தருவதோடு
பருகுவதற்கு தானும் உணவாக இருப்பது மழையாகும் .
உலகம் நான்கில் மூன்று பகுதி நீரால் சூழப்பட்டுள்ளது
நமது உடல் 7 ௦ % நீராலானது .
இந்த நீர் தரும் மழை, இல்லையெனில் ,
உழவு நடவாது ,பயிர் விளையாது ,பசிக்கொடுமை வாட்டும் ,தானதர்மங்கள் நடவாது ,
கொலை களவு மலிந்து ஒழுக்கம் கெடும் ,(குறள்kqf -14,16,13,18,20)
மழை பொழிந்தால் இவையெல்லாம் மறைந்து இன்பம் மேலோங்கும்

The pan 'spit' and open urination has become two major drawbacks Delhi should be ashamed off. Every major government building stinks with this menace. When pressure builds up to relieve, Delhi men never think twice, they only need a wall to get them selves relieved!!

In the last six months, “Selvi akka” as she is referred to by all, has already achieved what was once considered impossible. The 30-year-old mother of three has ensured that each of the 67 families living in Pasumpon Nagar build their own toilets and save themselves of the embarrassment of defecating in the open. She is now in the process of planting saplings, building a nursery, a children’s play park and digging compost pits in the open ground that was once the cause for shame for all.

Like sexual fantasy food fantasy may enhance the pleasure of eating! But could be yuup or Sick to many!

Graveyard Restaurant (INDIA)

The bustling "New Lucky Restaurant" in Ahmadabad is famous for its milky tea, its buttery rolls, and the graves between the tables. Krishan Kutti Nair has helped run the restaurant built over a centuries-old Muslim cemetery for close to four decades, but he doesn't know who is buried in the cafe floor. Customers seem to like the graves, which resemble small cement coffins, and that's enough for him.

"The graveyard is good luck," Nair said one recent afternoon after the lunch rush. "Our business is better because of the graveyard." The graves are painted green, stand about shin high, and every day the manager decorates each of them with a single dried flower. They're scattered randomly across the restaurant - one up front next to the cash register, three in the middle next to a table for two, four along the wall near the kitchen.
