கேள்வி-3:
ஏன் மரணமாகும் வரை காத்திருக்க வேண்டும்? ஏன் சரணாகதி செய்த உடனே மோக்ஷம் கிட்டாது? என்ன காரணம்?
புராணங்களில் சில உதாரணங்கள் உள்ளதே சரணாகதி செய்த உடனே மோட்சம் பெற்றதாக!
உதாரணங்கள்
1. கருட புராணத்தில் மாதவி என்பவள் சரணாகதி செய்தால், உடனே முக்தி அடைந்தார் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது!
2. விஷ்ணு தர்மம் என்கின்ற சாஸ்திரத்தில் நரகத்தில் இருப்பவர்கள் நாராயண நாமம் கேட்டு அதன் மூலம் மோக்ஷம் அடைந்ததாக கூறப்பட்டுள்ளதே!
3. தொண்டரடிப்பொடியாழ்வார் " நமனும் முற்கலனும் பேச நரகில் நின்றார்கள் கேட்க நரகமே சுவர்க்கமாகும் நாமங்கள் உடைய நம்பி” குறிப்பிடுகிறார்!
நம்மை வைத்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்று சர்வேஸ்வரன் நினைக்கிறாரா! அவர் காரணமா?
நம் கர்மவினைகளை இதற்கு காரணம்! அவரவர் செய்த கர்மங்களை கழித்து அதன் பின்னர் மோக்ஷம் அடைகிறார்கள்.
சரணாகதி அடைந்த உடனே கர்மங்களை போக்கி விடுகிறேன் என்று கீதையில் கூறியுள்ளாரே? ஏன் கர்மங்கள் உடனே தொலையாதா?
பதில்கள்:
1. சரணாகதி செய்த உடனே உயிர் பிரிந்து விடும் என்றால் நாம் அவனிடம் சரணாகதி செய்ய அருகில் வர மாட்டோம்! இது ஒரு விஷம் கலந்த குளம்போல் ஆகிவிடும்!
2. சரணாகதி செய்வதை நாம் வாழ்க்கையின் இறுதிக்கு தள்ளி போட்டு விடுவோம்! உயிர் பிரியும் நாள் நமக்கு எப்போது என்பது தெரியாது!
3. பீஷ்மரை போல்! ஆழ்வார்கள் & ஆசாரியன்களை போல்! சரணாகதி செய்த பின்னர் சிறிது காலம் அடியார்கள் இருந்தால் அவர்கள் மூலம் மேலும் நமக்கு பயன்கள் நமக்கு கிட்டும், மேலும் பலர் செய்வார்கள் திருந்துவார்கள்!
4. யஜுர் வேதத்திலே சரணாகதி செய்த பின்னர் இருக்கும் இறுதி சரீரத்தை பெருமான் விரும்புகிறார். நாம் பல பிறவிகள் பல ஜென்மங்கள் எடுத்து இருந்தாலும், இந்த பிறவியில் தான் சரணாகதி செய்வதால் இந்த சரீரத்தின் மீது பெருமானுக்கு அன்பு ஏற்படுகிறது! சரணாகதி செய்த பின்னர் இந்த நமக்கு கைங்கரியம் செய்யட்டும் என்ற அன்பு "இதற்கு உதாரணம்தான் திருவரங்கம் கோயிலில் இருக்கும் எம்பெருமானார் சன்னதி?"
5. சரணாகதி செய்தவுடன் உயிர் பிரிந்து விட்டால் இது சரணாகதிக்கு நமது உடலை பலி கொடுத்தால் போல் ஆகிவிடும். இதர தேவதைகள் பலி கொடுப்பதை வைத்து பிரதிபலன் கொடுக்கிறார்கள்! நாராயணனோ நம்மிடம் நாம் எதையும் கொடு அதற்குப் பிரதிபலனாக மோக்ஷம் தருகிறேன் என்று கூற மாட்டார்!
இந்த காரணங்களால் நாம் இன்றே ஒரு ஆசார்யண் மூலம் சரணாகதி செய்ய வேண்டும். சரணாகதி செய்தவர்கள் மேன்மேலும் கைங்கர்யம் செய்ய வேண்டும்.
பிழைகள் இருப்பின் மன்னிக்க வேண்டுகிறேன். மேலும் வளரும்.

Why don't we get moksham immediately after doing charanagathi? Why should we wait till end of this life? What is the reason?
There are few examples in Puranas stating people attained moksha immediately after doing charanagathi!
Examples:
1. In Garuda Purana it states lady named madhavi attained moksha immediately after doing charanagathi
2. In a shastram named Vishnu Dharma it states “people in narakam attained moksha immediately after hearing Narayan namam”
3. Thondaradipodi Azhwar In Tirumalai says - “ namanum morkalanum pesa naragil nindrargal ketka naragame sorgamagum namangal udaya nambi”
Is perumal wants to keep us for sometime after we do charanagathi? Is Perumal the reason behind this delay?
No not at all. It’s only because of our karma’s. Everyone clears their karma before attaining moksha.
Once I do charanagathi kannan says in bhaghavat geetha that he will clear of my karma’s! If that’s the case will not get clearance immediately after I do charanagathi?
Answers:
1. If we know our life will end immediately after doing charanagathi we will not go near perumal. Then concept of charanagathi will become a pond of poison!
2. We don’t know when our life will end but we will push doing charanagathi thinking I will do before end of my life!
3. Like Beeshmar, Azhwars & Acharyas we had adiyars after doing charanagathi who gave lot of benefits. Looking at such adiyars many others will do charanagathi
4. In Yajurveda there is a reference states perumal likes the sareeram that’s there after doing charanagathi. We have taken so many births but only in this birth we have done charanagathi & we will do kainkaryam to him which makes perumal happy. Perfect example is Swamy Ramanujar whose sarareem was given place in Kovil Vasantha mandapam.
5. After doing charanagathi if the life ends it will become like sacrifice of body for moksha. Other devathas are the one that ask for sacrifices. Perumal will always shower his grace for adiyars.
Hence we have to do charanagathi at the earliest through an acharyan?
