Namaskaram,

Could anyone recommend a good book to understand the Śrāddha procedure, rules and meaning behind the mantras. Particularly keen on books in Tamil please.

Also, a question on offering Pinda. We do for three generations. My mom attained divine abode but my father is alive. So should the Pinda be for the below during my mother’s Sraddha.

- Grand Father, Great grand father and Great Great Grand father;
- Mother, Grand Mother and Great Grand mother
