I find a lot of Tamil brahmin girls in thirties who are single in in india and abroad. They all have have had bad experiences with menfolk and are bitter with the deal life

has given them.Though they would like to find a match their past experience makes them bitter. They lose all sense of compromising and accepting boys with plus and

minuses. They try to set harsh terms to prospective boys and end up alienating them .Most would not like to tie up with boys who have parents living with them or

party drinkers and casual smokers.Non veg is no no .Again the girls do not want a relationship based on economic equality if they are working. While parents of these

girls try to help them find a match, the girls find it difficult to get over their past bitter experience with boys and find a match with an open mind. Many could do with

counselling to overcome their past demons and develop an optimistic outlook regarding life.

Thanks KRN for your post.

The data that only 20% of a sample survey people of 35=40 yrs were married and living together is an eye opener.Of course they are not indian.

Can single women in india be that way and enjoy their life.

They are ready targets for men in public spaces including work place.

Ihey cannot enjoy privacy of any sort.

Hence the large scale migration of educated singles to foreign countries.

Dear Krish Sir,

Are you living in 20 th century?

We know many single women, who are famous personalities. :)

In Tambrahms, second marriages follow a divorce, in many cases!

There are responses from virgin Ambis, when a divorcee advertises in our forum. :thumb:

Sir,
aren't there such 'targeting men' in foreign countries also?

As for the general fear psychosis or paranoia caused due to the media hype over certain incidents, nowadays many single women learn karate and other defensive techniques for self protection. In fact girls are learning it right from childhood.

As you said in the initial message, they need to develop an optimistic outlook, for which the father of the nation has suggested an infallible remedy :

In matrimonial sites like bharat matrimony or jeevan sathi ,there are divorced brahmin women ptofiles often floated by parents of the single divorced, widowed girls.First like

all other girls, they do not want boys with commitments-parents or children of past marriages. And due to past experiences they would like to live in proximity to her

parents .Another set are gold diggers who want to use boy for a foreign visa and live off them. Some experiment with sites like Tinder with a vain hope they will get a nice

guy.In india even with mutual consent, it takes four to five years to get out of a relationship. So girls are in their thirties, half burnt out with past bad experiences when

parents normally try to fix them up again.Very few end up with satisfactory matches in the end. Their ability to compromise is far lesser than normal young girls in twenties.

I hardly come across positive singles in thirties with open mind about relationship with boys .It is only boys from other castes who offer to marry these types for caste

progression and display these girls as trophies in their circles.

The 'Targeting men' exist everywhere. It is shown in 'English Vinglish' movie too, where a man drools by seeing Mrs. Shashi!

BTW, knowing martial arts is of NO help now a days. Women, whether going alone or with company, should know where

NOT to go and also when NOT to go! :decision:

It is also good, NOT to laugh too much ( remember Draupadi)

Dear Krish Sir,

In my extended family, a pretty, divorced girl with a lucrative job, got a better match within one and half years of divorce.

Another guy, who was in love with a Malayalee girl, was forcefully married within sect. Soon, the wedding ended in a divorce

and he got united with his love, within one year!

There may be sob stories too. But, I find modern women more powerful than those in our generation - who had to obey the

husband, whether 'pul' or 'kal'. :thumb:

It is this thinking that boys are out to only target them is a poor mindset. With our laws, most boys would keep a distance to avoid getting mistaken by girls. Most girls

prefer nice boys they know either their office colleagues or neighbours when they go out in evening hours. If the girls act normal, most boys would treat them as one of their

friends and bond with them.Somehow, these girls do not want nice boys as life mates, They want musculur bad boys who rise their BP.Nice boys make good friends and

not good husbands.LOl

Brahmin girls educated and working have a unique USP. They are brahmins and hence their appeal.

Boys would do anything to have them.

Boys and girls believing in Love than arranged marriages would go to all extremes to live with each other.

Those getting into arranged marriages are not respected by their peer groups.

Where is the contradiction ?

Girls who act friendly with boys are normally accepted by them as one of the boys if they do not play favourites . If they mix with all freely they will never get into harm.

If they act weird they are bound to get targetted.Boys would go to all lengths to help a girl in workplace in trouble
