AI-powered predictive care
AI and predictive analytics help us to understand more about the different factors in our lives that influence our health, not just when we might get the flu or what medical conditions we’ve inherited, but things relating to where we are born, what we eat, where we work, what our local air pollution levels are or whether we have access to safe housing and a stable income. These are some of the factors that the World Health Organization calls “the social determinants of health” (SDOH).

In 2030, this means that healthcare systems can anticipate when a person is at risk of developing a chronic disease, for example, and suggest preventative measures before they get worse. This development has been so successful that rates of diabetes, congestive heart failure and the decline.

It can stay..when the electric supply goes off, it wont exists.
When electric supply goes off we humans still can function.
In this day and age, there is something called an uninterruptible power supply. There is a redundant power supply backup. If the power goes off all those neonatal babies and people on ventilators will have issues. At least in developed countries for hospitals, we have generators, solar and other backups.

These days we can have a reasoned conversation with a humanoid robot, get fooled by a deep fake celebrity, and have our heart broken by a romantic chatbot.

While artificial intelligence (AI) promises to make life easier, developments like these can also mess with our minds, says Joel Pearson, a cognitive neuroscientist at the University of New South Wales.

We fear killer robots and out-of-control self-driving cars, but for Professor Pearson the psychological effects of AI are more significant, even if they're harder to picture in our mind's eye.

A really scary picture is presented in this article.

Short-Term Risk: Disinformation

Because these systems deliver information with what seems like complete confidence, it can be a struggle to separate truth from fiction when using them. Experts are concerned that people will rely on these systems for medical advice, emotional support, and the raw information they use to make decisions.

“There is no guarantee that these systems will be correct on any task you give them,” said Subbarao Kambhampati, a professor of computer science at Arizona State University.

Experts are also worried that people will misuse these systems to spread disinformation. Because they can converse in humanlike ways, they can be surprisingly persuasive.

“We now have systems that can interact with us through natural language, and we can’t distinguish the real from the fake,” Dr. Bengio said.

Medium-Term Risk: Job Loss

Experts are worried that the new A.I. could be job killers. Right now, technologies like GPT-4 tend to complement human workers. But OpenAI acknowledges that they could replace some workers, including people who moderate content on the internet.

They cannot yet duplicate the work of lawyers, accountants, or doctors. But they could replace paralegals, personal assistants, and translators.

Long-Term Risk: Loss of Control

Some people who signed the letter also believe artificial intelligence could slip outside our control or destroy humanity. But many experts say that’s wildly overblown.

After posting all the dare consequences of misused AI I found this TED talk, which paints the positive aspects of AI in medicine.

Gemini advanced is clearly showing signs of excelling humans in understanding mainly because i think due to a combination of reasoning ability, incredible breadth of knowledge and also expertise in them

It does suggest some good creative ideas too but still i would like to stick to my assertion that machines cannot surpass humans TRUE capabilities because they are divine. but at a pragmatic understanding of intelligence AI is already ahead

Unless humans tap into their spirituality they will be left high and dry behind these machines is my assessment. You can't compete with them on analytical ability and maybe soon on their creative abilities
