Young Ambis are very much concerned about their life partner and equally concerned are their parents.
In a family known to me, the parents got a good match for the first son and the d. i. l willingly helped in
their office work too. It was easy for her because she has a C A degree and family has a roaring business.
When the hunt started for the second son, problems too started! All the prospective brides' families asked
for partition of the property between the sons! After about two years, they got a 'match' from smarthas
settled in North India. Ambi's parents wanted to make sure that the would be d. i. l likes their family. So,
she was brought and entertained for about a week in their palatial house in Kerala.
Girl was very quiet and did not mix much with the members of the family. Still she seemed to be happy!
Then a grand gala wedding was arranged and major expenses were taken care of by the groom's parents.
After about five days, an auspicious time was selected for the first personal encounter of the couple.
Bride refused to let the groom sleep on the bed. Thinking that the girl was a bit more conservative, the
groom obliged! (Sounds like a Tamil movie, right?)
