Why is it taboo?
I see that happening in USA all the time.

Sorry, I forgot the air-quotes.

Interestingly, the groom is a real life Punjabi as his mom. The father of the bride is a real TB. Only the bride is a real-life Gujarati-Muslim-Kashmiri-German, but maybe somehow she can play a modern-day Tambrahm gal?

Why taboo?

Its not as if Alien got married to Predator!LOL

Its 2 humans yaar..that too 2 Indians!

Ever wonder why it is always Punjabi vs Tamil? Never ever a Gujarati vs Assamese? That is because the gulf becomes larger with a change in latitude. There is s theory about that.

punjabi boys are a fatal attractions for TB girls. The boys are both handsome and enterprising unlike TB boys

Biswa Mahodaya,

Punjab and Tamil Nadu are the most powerful states when its comes to Gaalis..thats why!

By the looks of the following song/trailer the gal seems to be an ultra-liberated TB while the guy is unusually nerdy for a Punjabi. Does it really reflect Chetan Bhagat and his wife?

Actually this South Girl,North Guy or North Girl,South Guy plot is getting boring.

Some director should think of a movie where a Traditional South Indian(Tamilian) divorcee female is the object of desire of men from various states of India who live in the same colony.

They do not know much about her cos she is supposedly a divorcee and no one has ever seen her husband.

Then one by one each guy tries for her.

First Mr Punjab tries and no one sees Mr Punjab again.

Then Mr Maharasthra tries and he becomes insane.

Then Mr Bengal tries and he uncovers a secret on what happened to the missing Punjabi and the insane Marathi and a dark secret about the Tamil lady.

Finally the story takes a twist that no one can ever imagine.

is it love or horror story

Renukaji,

Finally the story takes a twist that no one can ever imagine.

I know what you have cooked up for the twist to be. I am sure about one thing. It has to have some thing with Maya. I can suggest the following:

The punjabi when he .......(1)....... the lady it brought up a cat and naturally it was programmed to eat up the mouse that was the punjabi.

The Mahar when he .......(1)......... the lady it brought up a massive 20 tonne Ganapathy and naturally he went mad because he could only clap his hands and sing "sri mangal murthy jayadev jayadev".

The Bengali when he ........(1)........ the lady it brought up a fish(a 'kari'meen at that because the secret has to be a 'dark' one) and he thought the punjabi disappeared singing bhalle bhalle and the Mahar went missing holding his nose. Now he thought he has found out the secret of the lady he tries to fry and eat. But lo and behold. He is unable to do that. What is the reason?

The answer lies in filling up the blank wherever (1) occurs with "clicked on". Because everything happened in the virtual world just because an image was programmed to appear as a different creature to different people (this can be done by a half page of programming) it was all maya again (your favourite theme).

Take it or leave it. LOL.

Dear Vaagmi ji,

Nice story...but the story I have in mind is entirely different.

Its about immortality of the cursed kind... immortal yet she dies within every second and has to strive to live.

That makes the plot interesting cos the Bengali finds out the dark secret yet Mr Bong can't help falling in love and at the same time he fears his own feelings.

Why didnt the Bong meet the same fate as the Punju or Marathi?

What did the Bong have that Punju and Marathi lacked?

Now trying to be serious:

You have touched on the ancient secret. The secret everyone knows and yet would not say. The secret everyone is aware of and yet would not admit. A secret which is not a pleasant one. What is it?

It is that each human being searches for something in its lifetime but never gets to it. So it is a tragedy which everyone lives through. The end comes and closes the drama bringing down the yavanika. It remains an unfinished painting for ever. How many colors? How many emotions they represent? What a symphony of colors it is. Every color in the 'orchestra' playing its allotted notes with perfection, sometimes faltering and sometime going silent. The end product is the life of the individual-a sonata-perhaps. But what about the pains, disappointments, the awkwardness, the bitterness, the injuries, the hurt, the festering wounds caused by others and self-yes the life goes on. The orchestra never stops. The unending sonata is played out. The body reaches ecstasy-- the mind watching it wondering what it is all about--goes to sleep and gets up next day to live those pains and pleasures again. The search through all this never ends, only the journey ends. May be, to come back and start another journey all over again. The secret is: every life is a miserable lonely life.

Don't you agree?

?????

Nope..the secret is not what you are thinking about.

The story is about love, desire, passion,a curse, immortality, reincarnation and helplessness.

May be one day I will write this story and make you the Maama living across the street who keeps starting at the female lead in this story!LOL

your post makes a good reading
I found the lines -"everyone searches for something in his lifetime and does not get to it. search does not end and only lifes" journey ends. every life is a lonely life"-interesting
there is only pathos and negativety in your post.
most fulfill many of their hopes and aspirations. fail in some ventures and succeed in many.have periods of great happiness and some sorrow in life
it is a package. at the end of it all . has it been a worthwhile journey?
loneliness and misery is only for those who wantonly opt for it. otherwise it is only greenery and
good living. cheer up .it is not as bad as you think.
