ICC may suspend us for having CAG nominee in committee, says BCCI


But Venugopal was wrong-footed when he defended the board's stand against the Lodha panel's recommendation prohibiting ministers and bureaucrats in the management committee.
The bench said, You do not want a conscience keeper in CAG's nominee in the management, terming him to be a government nominee who could render the board liable for suspension. But you have no problem in having a minister or a bureaucrat in the management. Will this not be a ground for ICC to suspend BCCI?

Bloody double standards!! Cricket in India is the best money spinner. All other sports put together in India don't earns that much as earned by cricket alone. Everybody wants their interests to be protected. The politicians, business men are directly involved, underworld seems to be represented by their proxies. The nexus is vary hard to break.
