Almost a quarter of India's population is now affected by drought, says the government


Hoses are used to distribute water from a government-run water tanker in Masurdi village, India
The work of promoting new water bodies and maintenance of existing water bodies are not properly carried by the Governments.
The work are planned and executed in papers, bills / cheques are drawn and funds are shown as utilised.This an area of acute corruption.
Water sources are must for any economy to progress; Governments are yet to wake up and start up in this area with a vision and mission.



merging of rivers and rivers are national property......no politics in water/river isssues...
