What should you do?

You just finished cleaning the front yard of your house and rearranged the things to look neat
You keep the gates open to let your guests enter in with ease and you go into the house
to attend to other activities of yours.
Unknown to you, a garbage truck driver drives his truck right into your front yard and begins dumping
the garbage at your place.
You come out and are pretty much shocked to see what his happening. The driver dumps them all,
casts a nasty look at you, and yells at you with the choicest of his words and drives back with his friends
merrily laughing at you and your place.

What should you do?

Try to find out what you had done to him or his mastersearlier.Or most specificaly what you had not done to them ie.easing the itching palm.

  • Was your front yard full of things much like garbage, before you cleaned it, rearranged things to look neat, etc? That is, was there a possibility the truck driver thought it was fit enough for garbage dumping?
  • Why should you leave your gate "open"? Do guests insist on that? (In middle class India, the gate is always bolted and some people lock it overnight also.)
  • If the garbage truck driver comes "unknown" to you, then, theoretically, you can't do anything else except cleaning out all the garbage once again or request some specialized services urgently.
  • Since the truck driver seems to have some scores to settle with you, ordinarily, he must have some grievance against you. Try to find out what it is.

It depends on which region of India you belong to. If you belong to Nellai Maavattam, and if this trespassing was done deliberately to provoke you despite your warnings, you will catch hold of the driver, tie him to your gate and thrash him adequately and then face the law if it comes after you. In south justice and retribution are immediate and severe.

Cheers.
