Women spend more than three hours on an average getting dolled up before going out, a new survey has revealed.

However, despite recognising spending too much time on their faces, only 13 per cent of them have the confidence to go barefaced -- with 1 per cent of women admitting they wouldn't even go to the gym without makeup.

Leah Doherty, from St. Ives, explained that women are unable to drop their makeup brushes -- despite the fact that friends and family think they look just as gorgeous without it.
Doherty explained that, despite the fact women spend so long getting ready, they still don't feel comfortable in their own skins. And, makeup or not, 8 per cent of women spend at least 30 minutes a week altering images of themselves on Facebook.

"It seems modern women are not happy with the way they look even when wearing make-up, as our study reveals many are now even editing photographs of themselves before putting them on Facebook," she said.

But the tip of the nose can never be changed! Surely some photoshop trick added!

Some :spy: work shows that the girl in second and fifth photos are the same with different hair lines!!

Women spend more time on make up before going out and sometime husbands gets irritated!!

What??

No way!

I get ready so fast cos I only use a lipstick and no other make up.

I dont believe in even using Kajal for eyes cos I look yucks in eye make up.


But thank god the camera loves me so all my pics turn out very well as if I have make up on!LOL

But sometimes being too photogenic is also a problem..cos pics dont match real life face and at the immigration checks enough times I have been asked "is this you? why does your pic look so different?"

And I say 'I am photogenic..camera loves me..so I look better in pics"

If you see my teen pics you will get a heart attack!LOL

You know why??

Cos I was real ugly as a teen..skinny..gawky and yucks..so many people used to call me ugly.

As I grew older and entered my 20's to 30's started looking better and I am one those who look better as I age...so what I look now is much better than 20 years ago.

Even my son saw my teen pics and said "amma you did not look nice as a teen..you look nicer now"

In fact there used to be a guy in my school when I was a teen who used to dislike me cos he felt I was ugly and he thought he was very handsome. He used to call me ugly direct on my face.

When I used to be on Facebook few years ago ...this guy saw my pic and got my phone number from a friend and called me up and said that he found me very pretty blah blah and said sorry for calling me ugly when I was teen and said that our classmates should organize a class reunion!

I was thinking what a guy? Gave so much importance to looks and wanted to be friends after all these years!

So PJ sir..some are ugly when they are teens and look better as they age.

#5J sir, who says men aren't conscious of their looks? Not the modern metrosexual male, at least. The men's parlours (where they have manicures, pedicures, facials, etc.) are just as full as women's.
And who says women spend THREE hours on make-up? Forget cine-stars, whose job it is to look good. The average female, whether working or not, spends maybe 5 or 10 minutes at most on make-up.For me, it's maybe two minutes,no more, no less! I'm sure many guys spend more than that amount of time brushing their hair/beard and wearing their cologne!
