what is the procedure for doing ganapathi japam. is there any process. how much can we do at a time. any rituals to be followed. do we have tell the mantra in one breath

I have a similar question, is Ganapathi Japam important or the Pooja. one of my teachers told me to do the puja only once a day and make it simple. I am told not to worship Siva Lingam at home despite the fact I have one.

sir, Ganapathy japam is simple. You have to ge t initiation from one guru and as per his advice you can proceed. for ganapathy puja you can do dail y . no initiation is required. puja vidhanam books are available in plenty. you can buy one and do 16 upachara puja daily.
