Vontikoppal temple in Mysore

This is not a old or hisorical temple, but one of my personal favorites. You have a Thirupathy like Venkat Narayana Perumal standing at almost 6 feet. Then you have a Navaneetha Krishna sannidhi atthe back and its a crawling baby pose of Krishna. Its one of the cutest Krishnas that you ll ever see.

Its located very close to Mysore Railway station on the KRS road...Do see it wen you visit Mysore..Saturday 8:30 pm Maha Arati and Prasadam( delicios). Sravana Maasam ( july/aug) has a lots of festivties and elaborate alankarams evey saturday..

Major things happened in my life nly during this period and I was there every Saturday..
