You may give 20, 000 for one cow or 5000rupees for one cow. or you can give one mattai thengai with 500 rupees or 100 rupees. As per the financial condition of each individual it will vary. For bhoomi dhaanam you can give sandal wood this will cost according to its size. along with money as you like.
You may give big kuthu vilakku for lamp dhanam or small lamp with money. For every thing you have to give along with dhanam article money also. as per your financial status. In sastras in dasa dhanam you have to give gold one gram. now it is nearing 3000 rupees. sastras says atleast 25% of the MRP of gold should be given as money for poor class people. You may give silver plate or silver metti. for silver dhaanam.
oher dhaanams are jaggery, karuppu ellu. salt. raw rice, 9x5 dhoty, bed with p illows, umbrella. shoe. walking stick, pancha pathra uthirini, visiri, aasana palagai,etc. What you are going to give on varushabdeekam day those thinge must be given to the sodakumbam day sastrigals also. for sastrigals fees will come to 5000 rupees.
