The Raspberry Pi 2 was recently announced, and is the next revision for the revolutionizing $35 Computer, which is now a part of every self-respecting maker’s toolkit, and has promoted the art of Programming worldwide and made it more accessible.

Even though it has barely been a few days since the announcement of the Pi 2, someone already has discovered a bizarre bug. One user reports that when exposed to a high-power flash, the Pi switches off. Nothing too serious, but still bizarre.

The RPi Foundation has done some testing and has acknowledged that it indeed is a problem, but has said that it happens only when exposed to extremely high intensity flashes. If you take it out in the Sun, nothing will happen. A high-powered Xenon Flash? Perhaps.

This is due to the power regulator going berserk when exposed to high-intensity flashes and laser pointers.
Just covering the U16 Regulator would solve the problem.
