The 168th aradhana celebrations of Saint composer Thyagaraja began at his samadhi on the banks of Cauvery. Today 10 Jan 2015, is Bahula Panchami, the fifth day of the waning moon when the great soul, saint Thyagaraja attained Jeevan Mukthi. And his mortal remains were interred on the banks of the river cauvery.
