Temple Tour In & Around Bangalore

Need to do pilgrimage tour in and around bangalore (may be less than 200kms radius) (Return in one day). No dates finalised yet. Can any of you provide me the details?
Will be travelling with senior citizens (70+ yrs), so need hotels with good food facilities.
The trip will not be one-go. It may be extended in months. So do provide temples area wise, so that we can cover them and then move on to next area another day or in next tour timetable. I see some list in the tour-operators sites. But i suppose that is not exhaustive or area wise.




What other precautions need to be taken? Less kannada knowledge. But i suppose that is not deterrant.

Hello Sir,
Around/within Bangalore there are few temples - they can be covered in 1-1.5 days. YOU can visit ISKCON, Chikka TIrupathi, Kalkunte Ranganatha, BEML Srinivasa temple and Ragigudda Anjaneyar temple. If you are planning for Mysore there is Chamundi Hills, Srirangapatna, Melkote and Vontikoppal(near railway station), Nanjangud Shiva temple. You can hire a cab for these entire journeys.

I would suggest visiting Mysore which you can darshan peacefully , than Bangalore where there is traffic chaos. If you are from Chennai, take Shatabdi or Kaveri express to Mysore.

YOu can freely converse in Tamil and Kannadigas are kind enough to reply back if they knew Tamil.
